The Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on Marketing & Communications Coordinator to own visual identity and day‑to‑day marketing execution across our brands. This is a part‑time, on‑site role for someone who can hit the ground running in a small, fast‑moving environment. You’ll be the go‑to person for design and brand execution—comfortable designing trade show booths, refreshing product pages, managing social content, and preparing print‑ready files—while working closely with leadership, business development, quality, and R&D, with real ownership and visibility from day one.
How You Will Make an Impact
You’ll be a key driver of how our brand shows up—across print, digital, social, and in‑person—owning marketing execution from concept to delivery.
- Design and produce high‑quality marketing materials, manage print production, and ensure brand consistency across all assets
- Support conferences, events, and business development with polished collateral and seamless execution
- Help lead an active rebrand by updating, organizing, and standardizing internal and external brand materials
- Build and maintain branded templates and systems that scale across teams and tools
- Keep our website and product pages fresh, accurate, and on‑brand
- Manage social media content, engagement, and basic performance tracking in partnership with leadership
- Support day‑to‑day operations by coordinating vendors, documents, and ad‑hoc needs in a hands‑on startup environment
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Strong proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (or comparable professional tools)
- Experience producing print‑ready files (bleeds, color profiles, file formats)
- Comfort working in both Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Experience managing business social media accounts
- Familiarity with Squarespace or similar CMS platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and brand consistency
- Self‑directed, reliable, and comfortable in a fast‑paced startup
- Local to Vacaville / Davis, CA (on‑site role)
Nice to Have
- Product or tabletop photography experience
- Experience supporting a rebrand
- Background in health, wellness, biotech, CPG, or science‑adjacent fields
- Video editing for short‑form content (Reels, TikTok)
- Canva or Figma experience
- Print vendor coordination experience
- Basic SEO or e‑commerce familiarity (Shopify, etc.)
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $20–25/hour, depending on experience
- Hours: 20–30 hours/week, flexible based on project load
- Location: Onsite in Vacaville and/or Davis, CA
- Growth: Potential to transition to a full‑time role within 60–90 days
We offer some flexibility in day‑to‑day scheduling while maintaining on‑site availability during core working hours.
