NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a large, multi-channel consumer services organization in Plano, TX to hire a Scrum Master (Contract-to-Hire) to support technology and business operations initiatives.
This role sits in a hybrid Agile environment where Scrum Masters work alongside Project Managers. The ideal candidate is delivery-focused, comfortable navigating change, and able to keep work moving forward without getting bogged down by rigid process. This position is highly collaborative and will play a key role as multiple PMOs are consolidated into a single operating model.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support two-week sprints and quarterly planning cycles
- Manage and prioritize backlogs while tracking delivery metrics, costs, resources, and dependencies
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and delivery teams to keep initiatives moving forward
- Support application development and data-focused projects in a fast-paced environment
- Help teams navigate cultural and process changes as PMOs are consolidated
- Remove blockers and maintain momentum, even when requirements or processes are still evolving
Required
- Experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead in a non-rigid Agile environment
- Strong understanding of application development and data projects
- Ability to oversee delivery details, including scope, timelines, resources, and cost considerations
- Proven ability to partner effectively with both IT teams and business stakeholders
- Flexible, pragmatic mindset focused on progress over perfection
Preferred
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence is highly preferred. Clarity is a big plus
- Experience with AppDev, data, and mobile projects is desired
- Exposure to environments blending Agile and traditional project management practices
- Experience supporting organizational or PMO transformation efforts
