Position Summary
The Caregiver/Home Health Aide provides supportive, hands‑on care to clients in their homes. This role helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent by assisting with daily activities and following the care plan provided by the agency.Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
- Support safe mobility, transfers, and walking
- Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Provide light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying, etc.)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Follow the client’s care plan and report any changes in condition
- Maintain accurate visit notes and documentation
- Communicate with the office regarding schedule updates or concernsRequirements
- Active HHA/PCA certification (or willingness to obtain, depending on agency policy)
- Reliable transportation to travel between client homes
- Ability to work independently and follow care instructions
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Able to assist with physical tasks such as transfers
- Must pass background checks and meet agency compliance standards
Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
