We're hiring a Trading Floor IT Support Analyst for a long-term contract in Houston. The initial term is 6 months with strong potential to extend beyond a year. You'll work hybrid, 2 to 3 days onsite each week, embedded with a high-performing trading environment where speed and accuracy matter.

What you'll be doing
- First-level troubleshooting across Windows OS, PC hardware, networking, M365, Exchange, and Active Directory
- Supporting trading-specific applications, external information services, and online trading platforms
- Coordinating with the global service desk, application teams, and external vendors on escalations
- Mentoring and onboarding new permanent and contract staff at the local site
- Supporting software and hardware rollouts and annual business continuity testing
- Driving small process improvements and helping the team build internal tools
What we need from you
- Recent, hands-on IT floor support or desktop support experience
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, PC hardware, networking, M365, Exchange, and Active Directory
- Experience supporting business-critical applications, ideally in trading, financial services, or another high-pressure environment
- Confident communicator who can work directly with demanding business users
- Comfortable troubleshooting urgent issues onsite and coordinating across teams
- Some scripting, automation, or light app development experience is a plus
- Oil and gas or trading and supply industry experience is a strong differentiator
What won't be a fit
- Helpdesk-only or fully remote backgrounds with no onsite or floor exposure
- No recent hands-on work with Windows, M365, Exchange, AD, PC hardware, or networking
- Pure developer or pure infrastructure profiles with no end-user support history
- Anyone needing a fully remote arrangement
