As a Parts Expeditor/Inventory Control employee, you are responsible for expediting and facilitating the flow of parts inventory within the dealership. You are a valued member of our team, performing:
- checking in parts and reconcile receiving checklist to packing slips to ensure all parts and quantities are received and that pricing is accurate.
- Prepare parts for sale and verify dealer net price
- Stock inventory including organizing shelves and rotating stock.
- Review and code invoices sent from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure that all dealership and OEM invoices are scanned and maintained properly.
- File discrepancies with OEM for damaged, missing or wrong parts received.
- Ship parts to assigned locations.
- Complete purchase orders for parts; verify all prices before parts are received and posted.
- Track orders for counter sales and repair orders, follow up with vendors as necessary.
- Communicate with parts counter personnel and delivery drivers regarding parts transfers from other Nextran locations.
- Core management from core credit to customer to processing returns to assigned location.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
Preferred Candidates have the following:
- Prior parts experience, preferred, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
- Hight School Diploma; College or Technical training preferred, but not required.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Required to sit for an extended period of time (hours).
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
- The noise level in this work environment is moderate to loud
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
