NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Vice President of Engineering / CTO to join our client’s team in Melbourne, FL. This is an onsite (Direct Hire) position.
SALARY: $200k-$250k base, equity and bonus TBD (depending on experience)

Requirements
- 10 years of engineering experience
- 3 years leading engineering teams (more is better)
- Connected device / IoT experience
- Proven leadership spanning hardware, firmware, software, and cloud-connected platforms
- Electromechanical systems background
- Change management experience with organizational buy-in
- Skilled in hiring, mentoring, and developing engineering talent
- Lead and hold accountable the entire engineering organization
- Drive engineering execution, delivery, culture, morale, and accountability
- Act as a bridge between executive leadership and engineering teams
- Build and improve engineering processes and operating systems
- Own project schedules, prioritization, and execution
- Partner with the CEO on product strategy and execution
- Collaborate with patent attorneys on patent development and prosecution
- Hire and oversee cloud connectivity and data platform teams
