Location: US Remote (Washington DC area preferred)Employment Type: Full-timeOur company is looking for an experienced Lead Siebel Architect / Developer to drive the design, development, and modernization of our Siebel CRM solutions. This role combines hands-on technical work with solution architecture and leadership, and will partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable Siebel implementations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall technical architecture and design for Siebel CRM initiatives, including integrations, extensions, and performance optimization.Design and implement Siebel configurations: business objects, business components, applets, views, workflows, runtime events, and Business Services.Develop and maintain Siebel Open UI customizations, including JavaScript, CSS, and external framework integrations where appropriate.Own end-to-end solution design for integrations with external systems (e.g., web services, middleware, downstream ERP/HCM, data warehouses).Review and guide technical designs produced by other team members; enforce best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines.Troubleshoot complex production issues across Siebel application, integration, and database layers.Collaborate with business analysts and functional leads to translate requirements into technical solutions and realistic estimates.Support release planning, impact analysis, and code migration across environments.Mentor junior Siebel developers and serve as the primary technical point of contact for Siebel-related questions.Required Qualifications8 years of hands-on experience with Siebel CRM as a developer and/or technical lead.Strong expertise with Siebel Tools and configuration, including:Business Objects, Business Components, Links, Applets, and ViewsWorkflows, Runtime Events, Business Services, and EIM/EAISolid experience with Siebel Open UI (PM/PR), JavaScript, and web technologies (HTML, CSS).Proven ability to design and implement complex integrations (REST/SOAP web services, MQ/middleware, file-based interfaces, etc.).Strong understanding of Siebel data model and performance tuning concepts (indexes, queries, SQL analysis).Experience working in multi-environment setups with formal change management and release processes.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical options and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred SkillsExperience with modernizing Siebel front-ends (e.g., React components, external UI integrations) or integrating with cloud platforms.Background in Oracle technologies and related enterprise applications (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion, or other Oracle Cloud products).Familiarity with CI/CD practices, source control (Git), and automated deployment processes.Prior experience in a consulting or multi-client environment.What We OfferOpportunity to own the technical direction of mission-critical Siebel solutions.Work with a small, senior team that values clean architecture, practical problem solving, and knowledge sharing.Flexible, remote-friendly work environment.Competitive compensation.Paid time off.Paid sick leave.401K.Annual compensation range: $110,000 - $175,000 / year USDWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
