Role Description The Network Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Weatherford, TX. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment and connectivity for residential and business customers, including fiber and fixed wireless systems. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing network issues, performing troubleshooting, and providing technical support to ensure stable and secure service. The Network Technician will monitor network performance, assist with upgrades and expansions of network infrastructure, and adhere to company standards for safety, documentation, and customer communication. The role collaborates with field teams and support staff to resolve service problems quickly and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Infrastructure to manage, configure, and maintain routers, switches, wireless equipment, and related hardware.
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose connectivity issues and provide effective resolutions to customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Network Security to help protect customer data, ensure secure configurations, and follow best practices for network access and monitoring.
- Relevant experience with ISP or telecommunications environments, fiber optics or fixed wireless technologies, and field installation work is beneficial.
- Additional qualifications include strong communication skills, ability to work safely in outdoor and equipment-based environments, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , CCNA) are a plus.
