JOB TITLE:Electronics Technician (E-TECH)REPORTS TO: Electronics ManagerDIRECT REPORTS: N/ASUMMARY OF POSITION:This position will be expected to carry out the expectations of all frac electronics work. In this role the E-tech will be responsible to assist with any special circumstance issues that may arise.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:·Must follow all safety regulations and standards·Fix problems that routinely surface on location·Must adhere to Electronics Department processes and standards·Knowledge of DC Electronics·Knowledge of Instrumentation·Knowledge of AMI Software·Knowledge of all equipment and all instruments·Understanding of Hydraulic & Electric systems interactions·Demonstrate self-starting attitude and require little direct oversight·Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of every aspect of our workoMechanicaloElectricaloOperational·Employee must understand the crucialness of promptness & accuracy of work·Employee must display the ability to properly prioritize workplace issues & see them through to completionQUALIFICATIONS:·Knowledge of every aspect of the department·Knowledge of Software, Hardware, Equipment, Instrumentation, Controls, Etc.·Knowledge of role and responsibility of the department·Commitment to success of the Electronics Department·Understanding of being able to properly prioritize and address any issues that may arise·Have at least 2 years experience in the oilfield.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:This position requires work both indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, including precipitation, cold / heat, high wind, and turbulent conditions. Ability to safely navigate work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing, stepping, etc., during normal operating conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather) and while utilizing designated personal protective equipment (PPE). The candidate must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties. They must be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines including potential emergency response situations. They must be willing to work extended schedules that will include working days, nights, weekends and holidays. Variable work hours include regular after-hours and possible weekend commitments. Possible travel to job sites as needed.WORK SCHEDULE:The Electronics Technician is required to spend significant time in the field overseeing the day-to-day electronics activities of various frac fleets of Alamo Pressure Pumping, LLC and certain affiliated entities. This position will work a 14 day on, 7 days off schedule, excluding travel on Company business and is expected to work in excess of 84 hours per week on a regular basis.
