MOBILE Maintenance Technician - Semi Trucks & Material Handling Equipment
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lawton, OK. You will work in Lawton, Vernon and Elk City. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on semi trucks, small forklifts, and other related equipment to keep our fleet and operations running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on semi trucks, trailers, and forklifts
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot and fix issues with engines, brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, and other components
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders in a timely manner
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and company guidelines
- Assist with emergency repairs as needed to minimize downtime
- Keep the shop and work area clean and organized
- Communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and other team members regarding equipment status
Requirements:
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing semi trucks and/or material handling equipment (forklifts, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and braking systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various conditions
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant technical training or certifications a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with both heavy-duty trucks and industrial forklifts
- ASE certifications or equivalent
- Familiarity with fleet maintenance software
$$ Competitive pay based on experience
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
