What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Agent position at NextHome Tidewater Realty?
Tired of handing half your commission to a team lead?
Most new agents join a team, wait for the team lead to give them leads, and hand over half or more of every commission. At NextHome Tidewater Realty, we teach you to succeed on your own. You learn to generate your own clients, so you never depend on a team lead for your next deal.
Agents who build their own business keep 2 to 3 times more of every commission than team agents who give the majority to a team lead.
Let’s be upfront: this is not the place to hang your license and wait for leads to fall in your lap. Our successful agents prospect every week, try new ways to meet clients, and follow a plan. If that’s you, we’ll match your effort.
A Small, Hands-On Brokerage
We stay small on purpose, so you get real time with the broker, not a seat in a crowded bullpen.
- A personal 90-day business plan. You meet one-on-one with the broker every 90 days to set goals and build a plan to reach them.
- A custom weekly schedule. We build your week with you: prospecting, follow-up, lead generation, and training.
- Starter leads for engaged agents. Agents who attend office meetings and stay responsive can get cold leads with phone numbers to help them get started.
- A creative admin on your side. Our admin helps you with social media marketing for you and your listings.
NextHome Growth Lab, Included at No Cost to You
We pay for every agent’s access to the NextHome Growth Lab by Workman Success Systems, a $99/month value if you bought it yourself:
- RAMP (Rising Agent Mastery): A guided 12-week program covering the full transaction, built for new and rising agents
- SLAM and BAM: In-depth training on winning listings and working with buyers
- SHIFT: Scripts and strategies for handling objections and guiding client conversations
- AI Role-Play Partner: Practice your scripts and objection handling anytime
- Weekly live role-play coaching calls with agents from across North America
- Daily success habits tracking and a personal performance dashboard
Learn at your own pace, but the agents who win are the ones who actually use it.
Competitive Compensation
- Competitive commission splits, or a flat monthly plan if you prefer to keep more of each deal
- Transparent fees with no surprises
Technology Included at No Extra Cost
- A Smart CRM by BoldTrail with a built-in dialer, automated texts, and mass email
- Your own IDX website, built to capture leads

- A Design Center with hundreds of marketing templates

Who Thrives Here
- You prospect consistently: calls, open houses, your sphere, social media, door knocking, and more.
- You’ll follow a weekly schedule and show up for your 90-day planning meetings.

- You want a long-term career, not a side hustle.
