About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Lead to drive the quality assurance strategy for our financial technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with experience in leading QA teams, establishing test automation frameworks, and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of financial applications. We welcome candidates with a solid QA leadership background in any financial services domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Leadership
• Define and implement a QA strategy, test plans, and best practices for manual and automated testing.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring best-in-class test execution and coverage.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to align QA processes with business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements for financial applications.
Testing & Automation
• Oversee and execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing across financial applications.
• Design, implement, and manage automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of financial transactions, reports, and workflows in the system.
• Develop and maintain test scripts for APIs, UI, and database validations, leveraging automation tools.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution.
Collaboration & Process Optimization
• Work closely with development teams to integrate testing within the agile development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to define test cases based on functional requirements.
• Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and drive continuous improvements in quality processes.
• Implement and track QA metrics (test coverage, defect density, defect leakage, etc.) to ensure ongoing improvements.
Required Skills & Experience -
Must-Have:
• 4-5 years of experience in software testing.
• Experience in financial services applications (Fund Administration, Wealth Management, Banking, or related domains) is a plus
• Proven expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies for complex financial systems.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or similar).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database testing, particularly in PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation into DevOps workflows.
• Strong knowledge of JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
Preferred:
• Prior experience with Fund Administration, Mutual Funds, AIFs, or PMS platforms.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Experience with security testing and compliance-driven QA frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud-based financial platforms, preferably AWS.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in an agile environment and manage testing within fast-paced sprints.
• Proactive in identifying risks and ensuring high-quality releases.
