We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Supervisor for a local property management company in Santee! This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and has a strong background in property maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee property maintenance and repair work, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general construction.
- Complete service requests and repairs promptly and professionally in occupied and vacant units.
- Prepare units for new tenant move-ins, ensuring all maintenance standards are met.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and property logs.
- Ensure safety procedures and maintenance best practices are followed.
- Coordinate with property management and other team members to ensure efficient property operations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies (required).
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on property maintenance experience required.
- 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general construction.
- Proficient in using both hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, ladders, spray equipment, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- On-call rotation availability required.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- HVAC certification or licensing preferred.
