We’re currently seeking an experienced and motivated Concrete Foreman to lead and support a field crew for a reputable construction contractor. This role oversees concrete operations from planning through completion, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. Experience with Symons panel installation and foundation construction is required.
Position Overview
The Concrete Foreman is responsible for planning daily tasks, organizing materials, reading blueprints, and ensuring all concrete is poured, finished, and cured correctly. This role also coordinates with supervisors and subcontractors, maintains site safety, solves jobsite problems, and guides crew members to consistently produce top-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the concrete crew on daily tasks
- Install and set Symons panel forms
- Oversee layout and construction of building foundations
- Ensure all work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards
- Plan daily activities and coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower
- Read and interpret blueprints; verify site readiness before work begins
- Communicate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Troubleshoot on-site issues to keep workflow productive and on schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant jobsite
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Symons forms, foundations, and concrete structures
- Strong understanding of concrete placement, finishing, and curing
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and follow instructions accurately
- Effective leadership and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to perform concrete labor as needed (lifting, bending, standing, etc.)
