Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute tile and flooring installations
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate primers or adhesives for optimal adhesion
- Install various types of flooring including ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and other building materials with precision
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and lay tiles or flooring materials
- Follow building installation safety compliance protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in tile installations, building material installation, or related fields with specific expertise in tile laying and flooring installation
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and flooring projects
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately
- Knowledge of different shower systems and installation methods
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy materials safely over extended periods
- Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Additional skills such as carpentry, cabinet installation, remodeling experience, or handyman skills are highly desirable
- Speak fluent English
