Electrical Apprentice – Paid Schooling & On-the-Job Training
NextGen Renewables is hiring an Electrical Apprentice to join our growing electrical construction team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the electrical trade while earning a paycheck and receiving paid schooling and hands-on training.
What You’ll Do- Work alongside licensed electricians on commercial Photovoltaic (solar) and utility-scale projects
- Receive paid apprenticeship schooling and on-the-job training
- Assist with electrical installations, conduit, wire pulling, and material handling
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Travel to job sites as required by project needs
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Willingness to travel for work
- Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug test
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn a skilled trade
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors
- Prior electrical or construction experience is a plus, but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools preferred
- Paid apprenticeship schooling
- Paid on-the-job training
- 15$ base hourly or Prevailing Wages for the county work is preformed
