Job Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Rate: Starting at $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule: 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday thru Friday (hours are negotiable at time of hire)
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift and hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments, areas or trucks.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring all items are correctly packaged.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders.
- Perform computer functions necessary to ship and track various aspects of shipments.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and aisles clear. Sweep, dust, and mop, and handle trash removal.
- Perform pickups and deliveries to local suppliers using company vehicles.
- Assist in Return Authorization vendor repair requests, monitoring and communication.
- Light production as needed - batching, stickers, etc
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and address any discrepancies in shipments.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Clean Driving Record with valid license, required - with reliable transportation to work.
- Forklift Certification, preferred
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and reach trucks safely.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately handle packages and shipments.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
