What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junk Removal Crew Member position at Nextgen Junk Removal?
We're growing fast and we need another set of hands on the truck.
NextGen Junk Removal & Demolition — Sarasota and Manatee County. Locally owned. We're adding to the crew.
The work: Clearing out garages, storage units, estates, offices, and construction sites. Lifting and loading furniture, appliances, mattresses, yard debris, and construction material. Breaking down large items, sorting metal, running dump loads. Protecting floors and walls on every job.
The pay:
- $16.00/hr base to start
- Cash tips, kept by you, same day — most guys land $18–20/hr all in
- Review bonus when a customer names you in a 5-star review
- Overtime at time-and-a-half over 40
- Base goes to $17.00 at 90 days if you hit the marks. We tell you the marks on day one.
Tips vary week to week. The base is guaranteed.
Requirements:
- 18
- Reliable transportation — 7:00 AM at the truck, every day
- Lift 75 lbs repeatedly, work outdoors in Florida heat
- Steel-toe or composite-toe boots
- Smartphone with data
- Available most Saturdays (we rotate them)
- Paid working day with our lead before we hire
Helps, not required: moving, warehouse, construction, or landscaping experience.
Advancement: We're adding a second truck and opening in a second market. Clean driving record gets you trained on the truck — our drivers make up to $25/hr. Crew lead is a real position with commission on jobs you run. Our lead guy started here.
No experience necessary. We'll train you. We can't train showing up on time.
