Overview
We are seeking an experienced Node.js React Architect to join our client s engineering team onsite in Cupertino. This is a senior-level role that requires architect-level expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead offshore teams effectively. The role offers a long-term (3-year) contract with a stable and innovative semiconductor manufacturer.
Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable applications using Node.js and React.
Define system architecture, component design, API strategies, and coding best practices.
Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Coordinate with offshore teams to align deliverables and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Conduct design/code reviews and mentor development teams.
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance for mission-critical applications.
Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, cloud deployments, and automated testing.
Required Qualifications
4 5 years of experience in architect or technical team lead roles (not just senior developer).
Strong, hands-on expertise in Node.js and React.js development.
Proven experience designing and implementing scalable architectures (microservices, APIs, distributed systems).
Proficiency with REST/GraphQL, authentication/authorization, and secure coding practices.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform), Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with both business and technical teams.
Strong track record of coordinating offshore teams and delivering results in global setups.
Nice-to-Have
Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or industrial domains.
Familiarity with real-time data processing, telemetry, or streaming applications.
Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks.
