Job Overview
Under direct supervision, this role is responsible for designing, coding, testing, modifying, and debugging computer software. The developer will research and analyze program or system issues, create program documentation, and translate business requirements into secure and maintainable code. The position also supports the configuration and maintenance of the GenTax® COTS application.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, modify, and debug software applications.
- Analyze program and system issues and assist in developing solutions.
- Translate business requirements into software development tasks.
- Develop secure and maintainable code using .NET technologies.
- Create and maintain program documentation.
- Support the configuration and maintenance of the GenTax® application.
- Work collaboratively within a small team environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a .NET programming language.
- Working knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated resiliency and ability to adapt to challenges.
- Experience working in a small team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience working within a software development organization.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must be local to Metro Atlanta or willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.
- Must provide a Tax Clearance Letter at the time of submission.
- Must pass a background check and fingerprinting process.
- Must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations.
