Job Title: RF Engineer I – DAS & Small Cell Networks
📍 Location: Edison, NJ (Hybrid – Work from Home on Mondays and Fridays; in-office Tuesday through Thursday)
🚗 Travel: Occasional (Once per week to NY Metro area field sites)
Position Summary
This role supports the RF Engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Small Cell Networks (SCN). The position involves field work, network optimization, system design, testing, and customer documentation.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in RF Engineering or equivalent
- Familiarity with 2G, 3G, 4G wireless technologies
- Hands-on experience in DAS/Small Cell network design and optimization
Essential Job Functions
- Design and propose DAS and small cell networks
- Utilize sales process workflow tools
- Perform site selection, CW testing, and data analysis
- Prepare customer documentation
- Configure, test, optimize, and commission SCN and DAS
- Support NOC with performance issues and technology trials
- Conduct RF and fiber testing, reporting, and troubleshooting
- Perform system optimization for multi-node outdoor SCN
- Operate RF test equipment and post-processing tools
- Conduct field testing, drive testing (CW, benchmark, optimization)
- Use empirical and predictive tools for RF design
- Communicate technical concepts and system performance to customers
- Recommend system configuration changes

Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) preferred
