Field Tech Engineer II

Field Tech Engineer II position in Farmington, NM

This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience supporting cellular networks, including cell site maintenance, microwave systems, DC power systems, fiber optics, and network troubleshooting. The position involves preventative and corrective maintenance, equipment installation and upgrades, disaster recovery support, drive testing, alarm response, and on-call network restoration activities.

Key Requirements:

• 3 years of experience with a wireless carrier

• Experience with cellular base station equipment (BTS)

• Knowledge of microwave systems, DC power systems, fiber optics, and data backhaul

• Ability to troubleshoot network and site equipment independently

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred:

• Tower climbing experience (not required)

The position requires a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and participation in an on-call rotation.
