Equipment Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an Equipment Engineer to support Macro Modification Projects within a wireless telecommunications environment. This role is responsible for planning, procuring, tracking, and coordinating equipment required for cellular network infrastructure projects. The Equipment Engineer will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Construction, Real Estate, Facilities, and Performance teams to ensure equipment is delivered, installed, and accepted in accordance with project schedules and network deployment milestones.

Key Responsibilitie

• sDetermine equipment requirements for new and existing macro cell site projects based on engineering designs and project specifications
• .Coordinate the ordering, tracking, and integration of equipment, including antennas, power systems, fiber optic cable, and related network infrastructure
• .Manage supplier and vendor relationships to ensure equipment availability and on-time project delivery
• .Participate in project status meetings and provide updates regarding equipment procurement, delivery, and installation schedules
• .Maintain accurate equipment tracking, inventory control, and asset management records
• .Initiate material requests and coordinate shipments from centralized warehouse locations
• .Monitor inventory levels and equipment expenditures while driving cost-saving initiatives and just-in-time ordering strategies
• .Ensure timely vendor payments through PeopleSoft Equipment Procurement processes
• .Oversee equipment installation, testing, acceptance, and project closeout activities
• .Review engineering drawings and project documentation for accuracy and completeness
• .Utilize procurement and inventory management systems, including FUZE, to order and track equipment

Required Qualificatio

• nsAssociate degree or equivalent combination of education and experienc
• e.Minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications, wireless network deployment, equipment engineering, network operations, or related fiel
• d.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspac
