We are supporting our client in identifying a highly skilled Technical / Deskside Support IV professional for their Austin, TX location. This is a 100% onsite role, Monday Friday, supporting a dynamic and collaborative office environment.

Schedule: Onsite, Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST
Contract Type: Contractor role with possible extension (no conversion planned)

Interviews: 2 rounds via MS Teams

About the Role

This position supports the Client Services Department, handling escalated end-user technical issues for both U.S. and international teams. You ll be the primary onsite technician, providing hands-on support for desktops, laptops, Macs, mobile devices, printers, conferencing tools, and approved enterprise applications.

You will work closely with a seasoned technician during the initial training period, then operate independently day-to-day. The culture in the Austin office is highly collaborative, so strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide deskside break/fix support for Windows, Mac, Dell, and Apple devices
  • Resolve escalated tickets from helpdesk, walk-ups, phone calls, or ticketing system
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and test PCs, laptops, servers, networks, and peripherals
  • Perform IMACs (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes)
  • Support O365, SharePoint, OneDrive, WebEx, MS Teams Rooms, and approved 3rd-party tools
  • Diagnose networking issues and provide basic network troubleshooting
  • Review and interpret Azure logs; navigate InTune and JAMF
  • Follow internal procedures for service delivery, documentation, and customer communication
  • Maintain professionalism and customer satisfaction throughout all interactions

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8 years of Technical Support / Deskside Support experience
  • Strong proficiency with Windows 10 & 11, macOS, Apple devices, and Dell hardware
  • Experience with InTune, Jamf, and basic Azure log navigation
  • Familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, WebEx
  • Proficient in basic network troubleshooting
  • Comfortable supporting Audio/Visual setups and MS Teams Rooms
  • Ability to test and certify PCs, networks, servers, and peripherals
  • Strong communication, customer service, and soft skills
  • Ability to work independently as the onsite technician

Preferred Certifications:
Dell, HP, IBM, Cisco, CompTIA, Network , MCP, MCDST, MCSE
