Compensation: $50 per hour commission milestone bonuses

Role Overview
The company is seeking a Director of Marketing to own and build the marketing function end-to-end, with a focus on AI-driven content, brand development, inbound growth, and strategic partnerships.
The role combines content creation, social media growth, conference marketing, NYC-based relationship building, and creative direction to drive attention, inbound pipeline, and long-term brand positioning.
The Director will operate internally as the owner of marketing and externally as a representative of the company in partner and client-facing environments.
Responsibilities
Marketing Ownership
- Own and lead all marketing efforts across the company
- Establish structure, workflows, and accountability across marketing operations
Content & Social Media
- Develop and execute content strategy across:
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Build and manage a consistent content engine (calendar, cadence, distribution)
- Create and direct AI-driven content, including:
- Short-form video
- Cinematic-style content
- Founder-led media
Inbound Growth & Pipeline
- Drive inbound pipeline through content:
- Direct messages
- Lead capture
- Call bookings
- Design and refine funnels from content to booked calls
Conference Marketing
- Lead conference strategy:
- Event selection
- Planning and logistics
- On-site execution
- Post-event content and follow-up
- Convert conferences into both content and pipeline
Partnerships (NYC-Based)
- Build and develop marketing partnerships across New York City
- Identify and execute co-marketing opportunities
- Represent the company in meetings, events, and partner discussions
Design & Creative Direction
- Own visual identity and brand consistency across all marketing channels
- Create and oversee design of:
- Social media graphics
- Marketing assets and one-pagers
- Presentation materials
- Produce lightweight designs directly when needed
- Direct higher-quality or complex creative work when required
- Ensure all content meets a high standard of visual quality and brand alignment
Content Production & Assets
- Create and oversee:
- Social content
- Visual assets
- Video direction
- Write and oversee:
- Press releases
- Marketing copy
- Case studies
- Coordinate with internal team and external partners to gather:
- Headshots
- Bios
- Video assets
Client-Facing Support
- Support marketing strategy for select client engagements
- Interface with partner organizations and external stakeholders
Team Leadership
- Lead and coordinate a small team (1–2 content/creative resources)
- Maintain quality, consistency, and output across all marketing efforts
Required Experience
- 5 years of experience in marketing, content, or brand leadership
- Strong experience growing social media across multiple platforms
- Hands-on experience creating or directing video content
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and scaling
- Experience supporting conferences, events, or activations
- Experience building partnerships or working with external organizations
- Strong copywriting skills (press releases, marketing materials)
- Experience creating marketing and social media design assets
- Strong understanding of visual design principles and branding
- Ability to operate independently and own a function
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Combination of content creator, strategist, and operator
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a primary B2B channel
- Experience producing or directing high-quality and cinematic-style video content
- Proven ability to generate inbound leads and booked calls from content
- Comfortable building relationships and partnerships in NYC
- Able to represent the company in external meetings and events
- Capable of leading small teams while remaining hands-on
- Strong sense of brand, design, and visual storytelling
Compensation Structure
Base
- $50 per hour
Commission (Pipeline & Deals)
- Bonus per qualified booked call (to be defined)
- 2% – 5% of closed deals sourced from marketing
Milestone Bonuses (Brand Growth)
- $10,000 bonus per platform upon reaching 100,000 followers/subscribers on:
- TikTok
- YouTube
