Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery including extrusion, thermoforming, blow molding, and injection molding.
- Set up machines according to production specifications and ensure proper calibration.
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Document production data and report any issues to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating plastic manufacturing machinery such as extrusion, thermoforming, blow molding, or injection molding.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
- Team player; work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance, and quality staff
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, which may include noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
- Ability to lift, move, or carry materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 8-10 hour shift
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and use stairs as needed during the workday
- Must have sufficient visual acuity, hearing, and manual dexterity to safely operate computer-based machinery
- May require occasional overtime, weekend work, or schedule flexibility based on operational needs
