An Investment Management Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Operations Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Support operational and reporting processes across a range of structured and credit-focused investment strategies
- Assist with portfolio monitoring, trade analysis, compliance-related activities, and investment reporting functions
- Reconcile portfolio, cash, and reporting data received from external service providers and internal systems
- Maintain and update internal reporting models, tracking tools, and cash flow analyses
- Review investment documentation and operational guidelines to support ongoing portfolio oversight processes
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve operational inquiries and reporting discrepancies
- Assist with trade support activities, portfolio reconciliations, and other day-to-day operational functions
- Contribute to workflow enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and operational projects as needed
- Support a collaborative, fast-paced investment management environment with exposure across multiple functional areas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1–5 years of relevant experience within investment operations, fund operations, credit operations, or alternative asset management environments preferred
- Familiarity with operational processes supporting structured products, credit instruments, or multi-asset investment strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
