A Financial Services Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Investment Banking Analyst. Handling transactions across domestic and cross-border restructurings, M&A and financings across the middle market (industry agnostic). Analysts are provided significant exposure to 3-statement modeling, complex transaction situations and client-facing interaction and are expected to contribute to strategic decision making with senior bankers.
Responsibilities:
- Execute investment banking engagements across restructuring, M&A, and financing transactions
- Develop sophisticated financial operating models, recovery analyses, valuations, and other customized analytical work
- Lead the preparation and refinement of client-facing presentation materials
- Participate in and, where appropriate, lead client meetings and discussions
- Support strategic decision-making in collaboration with senior bankers
- Ensure all deliverables are accurate, thorough, and of the highest quality
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of investment banking experience at the Analyst level
- Outstanding academic performance from a top-tier undergraduate institution (minimum GPA of 3.5)
- Prior investment banking experience, preferably in restructuring, M&A, or leveraged finance
- Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to analyze and interpret key financial metrics (credit analysis experience is a plus)
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
