A Financial Services Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Investment Banking Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in restructuring engagements within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, responding quickly and accurately to information requests
- Prepare comprehensive valuation analyses, including comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF), and sum-of-the-parts valuations
- Develop and deliver high-quality qualitative and quantitative financial models
- Ensure all analyses and presentation materials are accurate, complete, and professionally prepared
- Participate in client meetings and support senior team members in client interactions
- Prepare pitch books and marketing materials to support the firm’s ongoing business development initiatives
- Conduct in-depth business, industry, and capital markets research
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of investment banking experience at the financial analyst level (2 years preferred)
- Understanding of, or experience in, restructuring, distressed situations, or mergers and acquisitions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Demonstrated strength in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and analytical problem-solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge of capital markets and investment banking products
- Advanced proficiency in financial and computer applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Bloomberg
- Experience or understanding of credit analysis is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team-based and client-facing environments
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
