Become a Key Player as a Platform Architect
As a Platform Architect, you will lead the design and evolution of Adobe’s AI-driven data and analytics platforms, enabling intelligent automation and agent-based workflows at scale. You’ll partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver next-generation capabilities for analytics, governance, and autonomous agents. Work model: Hybrid in San Jose, CA—3 days onsite weekly (Tues & Thurs required; third day flexible); full-time, 40 hours/week; not open to remote. This is a contract role through 02/27/2026 with potential extension pending performance and budget.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
- Define and maintain AI-first architecture for data and analytics platforms, integrating LLMs, agent frameworks, and orchestration layers.
- Design agentic workflows for data stewardship, hierarchy management, and firmographic enrichment.
- Architect multi-agent systems for automation, predictive analytics, and decision intelligence.
- Ensure AI components comply with responsible AI principles, security, and governance standards.
- Build custom AI agents for data quality, enrichment, and operational workflows.
- Implement agent orchestration frameworks for scalable execution across distributed environments.
- Integrate AI-driven rules engines for dynamic data governance and override logic.
- Develop and optimize platform services for Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server, and Collibra.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code for provisioning, scaling, and monitoring AI-enabled platform components.
- Drive observability for AI workloads through APM, logging, and performance dashboards.
- Design and implement data pipelines for structured and unstructured sources (ERP, CRM, telemetry).
- Apply ETL/ELT best practices for ingestion and transformation at scale.
- Re-engineer foundational data assets into AI-ready architectures (Medallion, Gold Layer).
- Champion AI-driven orchestration for automation and predictive analytics.
- Implement data quality frameworks, metadata management, and master data governance.
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 8 years in data architecture, platform engineering, and data engineering roles.
- Expertise in cloud-native platforms (Azure, AWS) and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with Databricks, Spark, SQL, Python, and AI/ML frameworks.
- Familiarity with agent orchestration tools and multi-agent architectures.
- Proven ability to design scalable, cost-efficient AI platforms for analytics and automation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Here’s What Else Might Help You Out
- Experience with LLM-based agents, orchestration frameworks, and AI governance.
- Knowledge of Medallion architecture, EDA frameworks, and agentic design patterns.

Pay Range
$67.44 - $84.30/hour
