Become a Key Player as a Software Engineer 1
As a Software Engineer 1, you will strengthen product quality across the Web Platform US organization. You will write and maintain test specifications and automation, collaborate closely with development, and apply solid testing methodologies to web and animation-focused features. This staffing assignment is scheduled from 12/01/2025 to 12/01/2026.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
- Write and maintain test specifications and scripts.
- Use testing tools to validate assigned product areas and manage the test and bug life cycle.
- Work closely with development in a Scrum/Agile environment.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and systems.
- Troubleshoot issues, interpret product specifications, and ensure high-quality releases.
- Collaborate effectively with remote teams and manage time across tasks.
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Education in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (Bachelor’s or Master’s is a plus); BE or Diploma in Animation also considered.
- 2–3 years of experience in quality assurance and automation (Exp 2–5 yrs noted).
- Thorough understanding of test methodology, test life cycle, and bug life cycle.
- Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals and common testing methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of scripting/programming: HTML, JavaScript, Perl, Python, shell.
- Relevant experience developing applications based on Java, ActionScript, JavaScript, Python.
- Advanced knowledge of one core operating system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in English.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills; ability to learn new technologies and take on new tasks; good time management.
Here’s What Else Might Help You Out
- Production/test experience in the gaming/animation industry.
- Experience with animation software including Flash/Animate; ACE certification advantage.
- Passion for web technologies and a sharp eye for detail and critical thinking.
- Experience working with remote teams.
Pay Range
$63.38 - $79.23/hour
