In-Home Sales Professional Needed

Duties

• Conduct in-home consultations to assess clients’ needs, preferences, and project scope for permanent holiday lighting, roofing, or gutters/siding requests.
• Present product demos and design concepts
• Develop detailed layouts and design proposals that incorporate interior design principles, lighting solutions, and renovation ideas
• Negotiate pricing, project timelines, and service packages to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets
• Upsell complementary products such as roofing, gutters, gutter guards, and exterior lighting
• Manage account details through POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle cashing out processes accurately
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, project specifications, and follow-up schedules to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within the renovation, construction, or retail sectors
• Strong knowledge of layout design software such as SketchUp or CAD; familiarity with lighting design is a plus
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively while prioritizing customer needs
• Background in remodeling, interior design, or construction projects preferred
• Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse client bases effectively
• Exceptional communication skills combined with organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Basic math skills for measurements, retail math calculations, and budgeting purposes
• Experience with POS systems, product demos, merchandising, and retail sales processes
