Job Summary
The Inspector is responsible for visually inspecting manufactured products to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met. This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to work independently after training in a clean room or warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong math skills
- Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping skills
- Positive attitude and effective communication skills
- Vision correctable to 20/20 with excellent color perception
- (Contact lenses not permitted in the plant)
- Ability to work independently after training
- Willingness to train other employees as needed
- Ability to use a microscope for extended periodsPrimary Responsibilities
- Visually inspect products for defects (voids, cracks, chips, misalignment, bleed-over, MBU, etc.)
- Accurately document inspection results, quantities, and defect descriptions
- Separate acceptable and defective parts and manage temporary storage
- Adjust microscopes, lighting, and inspection equipment as needed
- Properly dot and tally defects on inspected products
- Handle parts carefully and package or tray parts as required
- Meet quality and efficiency standards

Work Schedule & Expectations
- Regular attendance and punctuality required
- Must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety rules and report hazards immediately
- Assist and train other employees as assigned
- Work in other departments when needed
Physical Requirements
- Sitting: ~95% of shift
- Standing/Walking: ~5%
- Frequent fine finger manipulation and repetitive hand motions
- Limited bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, squatting, or crouching

- Clean room environment (68°F, 50% humidity)
