Position Overview:
As a Retail Customer Service/Sales Representative, your primary focus will be creating lasting relationships with customers and providing solutions that meet their needs. You'll work in a dynamic retail environment, helping customers solve problems, answer questions, and ensure they have the best experience possible. While sales are important, your role will center on building trust and rapport with customers, ensuring their satisfaction every step of the way.
No prior experience in sales or customer service? No problem We provide hands-on training to set you up for success in the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service and active listening
- Assist customers by answering questions, providing solutions, and addressing concerns
- Help customers find the products and services that best suit their needs
- Resolve customer issues and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and feedback
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive customer experience
- Provide product information and guide customers through the purchase process when appropriate
- Help create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all store visitors
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A passion for helping others and solving problems
- Ability to remain patient, calm, and positive when handling customer concerns
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Experience in customer service or any team-based environment is helpful, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a customer-focused role
- Comfort with basic computer tasks and learning new software tools
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
