The Director of Nursing is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Plymouth. This position entails overseeing all aspects of the nursing department to ensure high-quality and person-centered resident care. Responsibilities include developing and implementing care plans, managing nursing staff, enforcing compliance with healthcare regulations, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The Director of Nursing will also monitor patient outcomes, mentor team members, and foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including the ability to supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff
- Clinical expertise in patient care management, including developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance initiatives
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in using healthcare technology and electronic health records (EHR) systems
