Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages from box trucks and other commercial vehicles using manual lifting techniques and equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
- Support route driving by helping ensure all packages are organized correctly for delivery, maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
- Help load shipments at warehouses or distribution centers, ensuring proper handling of goods including heavy lifting and moving items safely.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with recipients during deliveries, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain safety protocols during all activities, including proper lifting techniques and adherence to traffic laws while assisting with route driving.
- Collaborate closely with drivers to ensure timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and smooth route execution.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
Basic Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have, at a minimum, a valid drivers' license, State ID or passport
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must complete and pass a drug test
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
