Logistics Data Entry Associate

Role Overview

Employment Type: Part-time

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Reports To: Jake Andrews, Director of Logistics

Travel: 15%

Work Schedule: 16-24 hours/week, including 4-6 hours every Sunday worked remotely; all remaining hours worked in-office

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $19-$24/hour

Incentive Pay: Quarterly performance bonus

The Role

The Logistics Data Entry associate will accurately and efficiently enter, update, and maintain supply chain data across proprietary databases and dashboards. Sunday coverage ensures order and inventory data is current heading into the new sales week.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality and security of all vendor, customer, and company data.
• Access and save order data from customer-specific platforms; upload to proprietary dashboards and databases.
• Enter and update product, pricing, and inventory data into logistics databases with a strict emphasis on accuracy.
• Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and minimum order quantities; flag discrepancies for follow-up.
• Parse and organize data for use in existing reporting and forecasting programs.
• Monitor store and warehouse inventory levels and confirm data reflects actual supply chain flow.
• Complete Sunday data-entry (4–6 hours) to ensure order and inventory data is current for the week ahead.

Requirements

• Reliable Internet connection required for remote Sunday work.
• High school Diploma or GED required; No college degree required.
• Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, retail, or related industry preferred; On-the-job training provided.
• Typing speed of 45 to 60 words per minute with 95 to 100% accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and or Google workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)

Knowledge

• Basic understanding of databases; familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) a plus.
• Awareness of data confidentiality and security principles.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of data.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, particularly during remote Sunday hours.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet regular data-entry deadlines.
