Job Overview

A Senior Producer at NEXT/NOW oversees the creation, planning, and execution of high-impact experiential marketing campaigns. This role requires a focused leader with extensive experience in digital installations, experiential marketing, and client management who can drive innovative strategies and deliver exceptional client experiences.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive experiential marketing strategies that align with company objectives and brand vision.
  • Lead the conceptualization and creative development of immersive experiences, installations, and brand activations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into marketing strategies.

Project Oversight:

  • Oversee multiple experiential marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to production teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
  • Conducted regular project reviews and status updates for internal teams and clients.

Client Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Understand client needs and objectives, and translate them into effective experiential marketing campaigns.
  • Present ideas, proposals, and final deliverables to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of producers, coordinators, and other production staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
  • Manage resource allocation and ensure teams are effectively staffed for projects.

Vendor and Partner Management:

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all partners meet project requirements, deadlines, and quality standards.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and ensure cost-effective solutions.

Budget and Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor expenses and provide accurate financial reporting to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all experiential marketing initiatives meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and effectiveness.
  • Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Gather and analyze feedback to continuously improve future projects.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in experiential marketing, event production, or a related field
  • Proven track record of successfully managing high-profile experiential marketing campaigns and events
  • Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent client management and relationship-building abilities
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with an autonomous mentality to get things done with little to no supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, and other software applications essential for event planning and execution
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools


Preferred Skills
  • Experience with virtual and hybrid events.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in experiential marketing.
  • Certification in Event Planning or Project Management (e.g., CMP, PMP).


Working Conditions
  • Office-based at our Fulton Market location (in-office 4 days/week) with frequent travel to event sites and client meetings
  • Must work (a minimum of) 9:00 am – 5:00 pm CST
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed during event execution
  • Ability to lift and carry event materials and equipment as needed

Salary commensurate with experience.
