Showroom and Architectural and Designer Sales Representative
Location: Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas
Opportunity
The Next Luxury representative will be responsible for driving top-line sales growth through the development of relationships, trainings, creating product awareness, and securing & maintaining display space in our distribution network showrooms and design firms.
The primary focus will be to build relationships across multiple audiences, including showroom staff, purchasing staff, Managers and Owners resulting in a market share and sales increase in our showroom residential business.
Specific Responsibilities
Develop relationships & maintain relationships throughout our dealer network:
- Foster individual relationships with managers and sales staff
- Help our manufacturers organize social/training events for our showrooms.
- Be able to train new and current salespeople on our products.
- Make sure all salespeople have the most current catalogs and selling tools.
- Develop valuable insights to understand the value chain and what drives purchase decisions.
- Calling on the A&D community to create product awareness.
Strong presentation skills to represent the brands in a variety of engagements:
- Clearly articulate unique selling propositions
- Develop deep understanding of the brand’s architecture.
- Develop detailed knowledge of all product lines and features.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Business, Marketing, or Economics from a four-year college or university preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years outside sales experience, with strong preference given to experience in Decorative Building Products.
- Strong communication skills required.
- Experience with luxury products is highly preferred.
Travel
- May require occasional overnight travel.
- Requires car.
