What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health/Substance Use Therapist position at Next Life Recovery Center?
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Hours: 8:30pm to 5pm Monday to Friday
Pay: Starting from $30 to $35/ hour (depending on licensure and experience) (PTO starts when 3 month probationary period is over).
Licensure: LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC with addiction and mental health diagnosing and treatment experience for PHP program is a must.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing therapy to clients struggling with substance use disorders and mental health. You will play a vital role in helping patients develop coping strategies, improve their mental health, and achieve their recovery goals in a supportive and holistic environment.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments including biopsychosocial assessments, ASAM, outcomes assessment, and all necessary assessments to identify patients needs and strengths to create treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based models.
- Provide group and individual therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic approaches to support recovery.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical staff and clinical staff to provide care.
- Assume additional duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC license required for the state of Ohio.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic models and approaches for mental health and substance use.
- Experience with PHP documentation
