Duties
- Develop customized strength and conditioning programs based on individual physiology, anatomy, and sport-specific needs.
- Lead engaging group fitness sessions that incorporate proper body mechanics, functional movement patterns, and injury prevention strategies.
- Provide one-on-one personal training sessions focused on improving strength, agility, endurance, and overall athletic performance.
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, safety protocols, and effective workout routines to maximize results.
- Monitor client progress through regular assessments, adjusting programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Reach out to the athletes weekly to outside of training time to check on others part of life (school, home, relationships, etc.)
- Promote a positive environment that encourages motivation, discipline, and adherence to fitness goals while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and biomechanics essential for designing effective training programs.
- Experience in program design tailored to diverse client needs within a gym or health club setting.
- Strong background in sports coaching or teaching physical education with an understanding of sport-specific conditioning.
- Proven ability in personal training and group fitness instruction with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with fitness sales techniques to promote services and grow client base is advantageous.
- Certification in personal training or strength & conditioning from recognized organizations is preferred.
- Ability to motivate others through energetic coaching while maintaining safety standards at all times.
