What You'll Be Doing:
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be:
Installing, terminating, testing, and labeling Cat 5e/6, coax, and fiber optic cables
Building out telecom and equipment rooms and running cables through a variety of environments
Setting up and maintaining Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Nurse Call systems
Working with state-of-the-art devices like card readers, maglocks, IP cameras, and more
Reading blueprints and wiring diagrams to bring projects to life
Using ladders, lifts, and tools to get the job done right — safely and professionally
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in low voltage installations
Comfortable lifting 50 pounds and working from heights
Willingness to travel (NC, SC, VA) with occasional overnight stays
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Experience with top systems: S2, LENEL, Avigilon, Genetec, Honeywell, Bosch, and more
Certifications: BICSI, NBFAA, NICET, Fiber Optics
Familiarity with ANSI/TIA/EIA standards and NEC
Previous work with conduit installation and modular furniture
