What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Quality Control Technician position at Next Level Staffing?
What you'll be doing:
You'll be a member of our Quality team responsible for ensuring conformity and compliance of innovative our products. These products are used on sailboats, safety and rescue devices, and industrial applications.
More specifically, you'll be:
- Inspecting or checking parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples.
- Assisting with nonconforming product and root cause analysis.
- Reading and interpreting drawings, with a firm understanding of GD&T.
- Performing repetitive inspections following standardized methods and procedures.
- Supporting department functions, including meeting planning, document preparation, and coordinating activities.
- Collecting and compiling data to prepare standard reports for decision-making.
What we are looking for:
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including experience with CMM
(Coordinate Measuring Machines).
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide with whole numbers, fractions, and
decimals).
Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to prioritize multiple
assignments under deadlines.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Even better if you have:
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX
SolidWorks/SolidWorks Inspection experience.
Sailing or rope handling background.
Hydraulic systems knowledge and/or hands on experience working with hydraulic systems.
