What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler position at Next Level Staffing?
1st Shift-
Assemble electromechanical controls, hydraulic components, and pneumatic components; terminates wiring in accordance with engineering blueprints. Installs, tests, and inspects control components within manufactured equipment to confirm conformance with specifications prior to release.
4. Organizational Relationship
Reports to: Plant Manager.
Authority: Performs assigned assembly, build, test, and inspection tasks within established work instructions and quality standards; has the authority to halt work and escalate to the Plant Manager upon identification of a nonconformance, safety hazard, or condition that may affect product quality.
5. Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain and follow established safety standards and procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly workplace (5S / housekeeping).
• Assist co-workers as needed to support team and departmental objectives.
• Assemble subassemblies and final assemblies in accordance with blueprints and work instructions.
• Use a wide range of hand tools, including but not limited to: cordless drills, thread taps, combination wrenches, tape measures, carpenter squares, pry bars, combination squares, pneumatic impact guns, and sledgehammers.
• Operate drill press, hydraulic press, and band saw equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Build, test, and inspect completed job assignments; verify conformance to specifications and document results as required by the QMS.
Salary : $20 - $22
