What You’ll Do
- Support senior Project Managers in planning projects, including defining scope, timelines, staffing, risks, and contingencies
- Assist with project setup and onboarding, including coordinating systems, tools, and communication channels
- Help manage day-to-day project activities such as stand-ups, task tracking, and team communications
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings and share updates, blockers, and action items
- Assist in organizing and leading project meetings focused on status updates, problem-solving, and team collaboration
- Support issue resolution efforts and help drive tasks through to completion
- Contribute to reporting on schedules, budgets, and project delivery for stakeholders
- Maintain project documentation including status reports, meeting notes, and issue logs
- Help identify creative solutions to challenges and support timely project delivery
- Participate in sprint, milestone, and project reviews to drive continuous improvement
- Assist in project closure activities, including system decommissioning and documentation wrap-up
- Collaborate with other Project Managers and leadership as needed
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Business, Computer Information Systems, Insurance & Risk Management, or a related field
- Exposure to project management, software technology, or the insurance industry
- Experience working on small projects or teams (5 members preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools
- Ability to use collaboration tools, video conferencing, and standard business technology
- Strong communication—both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, results-driven mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly as project needs evolve
- Collaborative team player who also works well independently
- Professional, customer-focused approach in all interactions
