What You’ll Do
- Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Lead the design and development of custom Duck Creek solutions using ManuScript
- Provide technical leadership to your development team, offering guidance and mentorship across the platform
- Drive solution approvals, including requirements, architecture, and delivery timelines
- Support project planning and ensure solutions align with long-term client strategies
- Take ownership of customer issues and lead them through to resolution
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment while elevating team capabilities
- 6–10 years of industry experience, including 5 years with Duck Creek products
- Deep expertise in Duck Creek Policy Administration and/or Billing (Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT)
- Hands-on experience with ManuScript configuration and inheritance structures
- Experience with Duck Creek APIs, Duck Creek Anywhere, and Duck Creek Skins
- Strong background in C# custom business objects and XML (or similar programming languages)
- Experience with Duck Creek tools such as Author (Fields, Pages, Forms, Tables) and debugging tools (TraceMonitor, ExampleUtil, Data Tester)
- Knowledge of Duck Creek Shredding including IDO
- Solid experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, triggers, and related database objects
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including Agile environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients
- A self-starter mindset with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
