We are seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Installer to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of appliances for residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities
- Install new appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and other household or commercial units according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to ensure proper installation and repair procedures
- Conduct equipment assembly and ensure all appliances are securely installed and functioning correctly
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration issues using specialized tools and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, addressing customer questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks safely while transporting appliances to job sites
- Assist with equipment repair and maintenance tasks to support overall field service operations
- Adhere to safety protocols during installations and repairs to maintain a safe work environment
Skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliance assembly, equipment repair, and HVAC systems
- Customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and clear communication
- Experience working as a delivery driver or in field service roles involving box trucks or similar vehicles
- Electrical experience relevant to appliance wiring, troubleshooting, and safety standards
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is desirable but not required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
