HR Generalist Responsibilities:
- Time & Attendance System Administration: Maintain and monitor timekeeping records; ensure accuracy in reporting, resolve discrepancies, and support payroll processes.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee education. Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate pre-employment screenings, background checks, and new hire onboarding processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Employee Relations: Assist in conducting employee investigations, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate actions.
- HR Administration: Maintain employee files, process HR documentation, and support compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Reporting & Data Management: Utilize Excel and HRIS tools to generate reports, track HR metrics, and support decision-making.
HR Generalist Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of progressive HR experience
- Solid knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data management).
- Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
