Next Level is a group practice of 60 clinicians covering 100 specialty areas across New York State. We handle billing, admin, credentialing, and marketing, and we invest in building your caseload — so your time goes toward the clients in front of you and the clinician you're becoming, not the administrative work behind the scenes.

This is a practice built for clinicians who want to grow — clinically and professionally.

What You Actually Get At Next Level:

• You practice your specialty, not whoever calls. Our care team matches clients by need, history, and fit, giving them two or three clinicians to choose from. If you've built depth in perinatal work, late-diagnosed ADHD, non-monogamy, grief, couples, or culturally responsive care, that's how you get matched.
• Colleagues who've actually seen it. With 60 clinicians, peer consultation is a quick conversation down the hall. A client outside your scope gets a warm internal transfer to someone who covers that work.
• Room to go deeper or wider. Individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Ages 6 to 65 . 100 specialty areas. Build your caseload entirely in your niche, or expand into something new, all under the same roof.
• A real path past session hours. Supervision, mentoring, leading groups, building trainings, specialty programming, leadership as we grow. Most group practices gesture at this. We've built it.
• W-2, not 1099. Benefits, structure, and a practice that invests in developing you rather than renting your hours.

what you'll do

• Provide individual, couples/relationship, family, and/or group psychotherapy in your areas of clinical expertise.
• Conduct assessments and develop diagnoses, treatment plans, and therapy goals.
• Complete progress notes, treatment plans, discharge planning, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Support clients throughout the full course of treatment, including intake, ongoing care, referrals, and discharge.
• Consult with clinical leadership and colleagues on complex cases.
• Build and maintain a consistent caseload by actively responding to Next Level referrals, participating in client matching, and independently pursuing opportunities to grow your caseload and professional presence.
• Contribute to the clinical community through peer consultation, case discussion, and the trainings we run in-house.
  
  

How Your Caseload Actually Works:

• We contribute referrals and matching. Clients come to you based on fit with your expertise.
• You contribute responsiveness and visibility. A full caseload is shared work: respond to referrals quickly, follow through, and stay active in how prospective clients see your work. We provide the resources to support that.
  
  

Full-time:

• Minimum 20 weekly direct client hours in year one, 25 after.
• We're building a team of clinicians who are here to grow a career, not just fill a role. That's why we accommodate a lighter caseload, 20 direct client hours weekly, during your first year, giving you real room to ramp up. After that, we ask everyone to sustain a full caseload of 25 clients weekly.
  
  

what you bring

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related counseling field
• Active New York State LMHC license
• Strong clinical foundation and demonstrated ability to provide culturally responsive care
• Commitment to ethical, client-centered practice
• Strong communication, organizational, and technological skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical team
• Demonstrated multicultural competency and cultural humility
• Availability for in-person sessions at our Midtown Manhattan or Irvington office
