On-Premise Brand Ambassador (supporting Allied Beverage Group)

Overview

The Diageo On-Premise Brand Ambassador is responsible for driving visibility, distribution, and brand advocacy for Diageo’s premium portfolio within key on-premise accounts. This field-based role focuses on building strong customer relationships, increasing menu placements, executing impactful events, and delivering best-in-class brand education to bartenders, staff, and consumers.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional with a passion for the beverage industry and a strong understanding of the on-premise landscape.

Core Accountabilities

· Develop and grow Diageo’s brand presence within assigned on-premise accounts and territory

· Identify and secure new account opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships

· Establish and maintain a network of high-profile “Showcase Accounts” featuring strong brand visibility through menu placements, backbar presence, drink features, and point-of-sale materials

· Achieve or exceed territory sales, distribution, and activation goals

· Conduct engaging bartender and staff trainings to increase product knowledge and advocacy

· Develop and execute local activation and event calendars that drive consumer trial and brand awareness

· Collaborate with accounts to secure menu features, promotions, and specialty cocktails

· Maintain strong knowledge of Diageo brands, industry trends, and competitive activity

· Identify market opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to maximize brand growth

· Plan and execute trade, distributor, industry, and consumer-facing events

· Manage assigned budgets effectively and responsibly

· Maintain accurate account records, territory updates, and timely reporting

· Complete weekly recaps, pre-plans, and monthly performance reports

· Represent Diageo, Allied Beverage Group and Next Level Marketing professionally at all times

·Evening and weekend availability is required; this is a field-based role involving regular travel throughout the assigned territory

Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Qualifications, Skills, Abilities)

Skills, Education, & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in the alcoholic beverage industry, preferably within on-premise sales or brand marketing

· Existing relationships within the on-premise community strongly preferred

· Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required

·Ability to lift and transport up to 40 pounds on a regular basis

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000, with final compensation based on experience and qualifications.
