Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Master Social Worker to lead our social services team and provide exceptional support to individuals and families in need. In this vital role, you will coordinate comprehensive care plans, deliver crisis intervention, and foster positive behavioral health outcomes. Your expertise will help empower clients to overcome challenges related to addiction, child welfare, mental health, and housing stability. As a master-level professional, you will also supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.
Duties
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for clients facing complex social, behavioral, and health issues
- Conduct crisis management interventions to stabilize clients experiencing urgent situations
- Provide addiction counseling and behavioral health support to promote recovery and resilience
- Lead supervision of social work staff, offering mentorship, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with community agencies on workforce development programs, Section 8 housing initiatives, and Medicare services
- Facilitate motivational interviewing sessions to motivate clients toward positive change
- Manage child welfare cases, including assessments, family support plans, and childcare coordination
- Engage in community outreach to promote available resources such as mental health services and workforce programs
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program with licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent
- Proven experience in social work practice with a focus on crisis intervention, behavioral health, or child welfare
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis management and addiction counseling techniques
- Supervisory experience leading teams of social workers or case managers
- Strong knowledge of Section 8 housing programs, Medicare regulations, and workforce development initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients through motivational interviewing methods
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Familiarity with community resources related to childcare, mental health services, and social support systems
